# v1.16.0 — Faster import, export, and editing for large videos; Claude can now work with your editor media and previews

> Importing and exporting large media is now faster and uses far less memory, and working in the timeline and Inspector feels lighter. Claude can now use the media you imported in the editor and check its edits by viewing preview images.

- **Improved**: Faster import for large videos with much lower memory use; thumbnails and waveforms also appear sooner
- **Improved**: Faster exports — up to about 30x faster for videos with color grading or perspective correction, and almost no wait before an export starts

- **New**: When the export frame rate is higher than your footage, the Export dialog now notes that motion won't get smoother — only export time and file size increase
